As a therapist, some of my core beliefs that I bring to every session are:

  • That people are not stuck where they are

  • That people can feel to heal

  • That people can be the authors of their own story

  • That people can develop the skills and tools they need to create a brighter future

Like with any choice, choosing to go to therapy comes with its own risks.  As Brene Brown beautifully quotes, "staying vulnerable is a risk we have to take if we want to experience connection." Leaning into the journey of therapy can empower individuals and couples to gain deeper connection and intimacy.

And speaking of intimacy, it helps to define what that actually is starting with arguably one of the more intimate statements of "I love you."  In therapy, I help my clients define the "I," the "love," and the "you" because it is in defining these terms that we can truly develop and deepen our relationships.  In other words, I support my clients in getting to know themselves, their spouses, and the dynamic of their relationship.

A Little About Me

Before joining Embrace Therapy, I provided therapy at a Gap Year Program. Additionally, I worked at the Jewish Family and Community Services in Jacksonville, Florida where I offered counseling and social emotional programming.
